The Plastic Logic comapny will unveil a new electronic reading device that is 8.5 x 11 inches, nearly paper thin, and has a long battery life (more @ Editor and Publisher).  This product is in the same vein as the Amazon Kindle, except it allows for the reading of PDF files that haven't been purchased from the online store.

 

Ars Technica wrote up Paul Ohm's apolcalyptic warnings that ISPs have a dangerously large of control over the private information and activities of their users.
